The Child Crisis Center of El Paso thanks Alltel Wireless and the Mexican band Reik for visiting
the center. Alltel renovated the “Circle of Love” wing, donated $10, 000, mounted a canopy over
the nursery playground and donated a signed Reik band guitar.
Reik performed for the children and they enjoyed the music tremendously. The band played some
of their famous hit songs “Invierno”, “Que Vida la Mia” among others.
Reik and La Quinta Estacion performed at the Plaza Theater on July 6th, 2007. Staff from the
Child Crisis Center attended this wonderful event enjoying hit songs by both bands. Alltell wireless
acknowledged the Center for protecting the children in our region and the Center wishes to
express its gratitude to Alltel for their desire to make a difference in the lives of children.
