Military Services
The Military Program assists American Military families of all branches and veteran status who have unmet needs due to
death, injury, physical or mental detriment, financial hardship or in any crisis situation that arises as a result of their
service.

The Texas Veterans Commission program is exclusively for Texas military families who are serving in the military or have
been honorably discharged from the military.  The Child Crisis Center has both direct services as well as referral services
available to meet the family’s needs for emergency child care (24 hours or longer), financial stresses, single parenting,
emergency clothing and food, as well as meeting any other needs that may arise.

ALL SERVICE MEMBERS AND THEIR FAMILIES ARE WELCOME AND WILL BE SERVED AT THE
CHILD CRISIS CENTER OF EL PASO

A Quote from a General’s Wife:

“The Child Crisis Center often assists our Army families stationed at Ft. Bliss when a traumatic event for the child or
children occurs.  I, personally, am grateful that such an organization exists, and in such close proximity to our Army post.
I believe that all that the Child Crisis Center offers of a practical and emotional nature for Army children makes this a very
vital program in this area.”

Raising children is not an easy job, especially during a crisis.  Everyday stresses can become overwhelming.
When those stresses come between a parent and their child, call us for help.  We serve families who need a
safe place for their children when family emergencies occur.
