This is a new program in addition to our regular volunteer program.   This free training
opportunity is a chance to give your time to children in need while getting back so much
more in return!

Volunteers in this program will become certified to assist childcare staff in taking care of
children in the emergency shelter, conducting admissions and discharges, processing files,
and other duties as needed.  This volunteer service will allow you to see firsthand how the
Child Crisis Center of El Paso cares for children in urgent need situations; but more
importantly,  you will walk away from this experience with a heart full of the love these
children freely give to you.

We are in need of certified volunteers for our morning, afternoon, weekend and graveyard
shifts, as well as volunteers willing to drive children to and from school.  Volunteer schedules
will be flexible to fit your time, but we ask that you be willing to volunteer at least four to five
times per month for at least six months.

The Child Crisis Center of El Paso will pay for all required training to become certified which
includes: 16 hours of Managing Aggressive Behavior training, CPR/First Aid certification,
Food Handlers Card, drug test and background check.

If you're interested in making a difference in a child's life,

We will provide the children,
you provide the time and love...
The Child Crisis Center was founded on volunteer work
and it is still an essential service needed at the Center.

We accept volunteers for our regular volunteer program
to assist us:

  • in helping with children in our emergency shelter,
  • with administrative duties, to include answering phones
  • in providing services to the community
  • in helping during special events and fund raisers

Thank you for caring1
Volunteers make up a big part of our program. It is a chance for you to give back to the
community while receiving the benefit of feeling good. There is always more need than our
agency can help with on our own.  That's where you come in! Everyone has a skill that can
be used for volunteering.   We'll help you turn your skill into the gift of volunteering.

All volunteers are required to attend an orientation,
and consent to a background check and drug test.

Please call us. The need is great,  and the children need a giving heart like yours.
