A 7-month-old is found in an El Paso lodge... The baby’s mother and her boyfriend are charged in her death. ~ A 2-year old girl is found dead in an eastside apartment, badly beaten to death. Her 4-year old brother is also badly beaten, but he survives. ~Yet another death: a 2-year old girl is found in the trunk of a car. The baby’s mother and her boyfriend are arrested. Think of six little children you know and love. Which one would you be OK five boys you know. Which one would you be OK with being sexually abused? A third of all girls and a fifth of boys are sexually abused by an adult during childhood. Last year in El Paso, an average of 6 children per day were confirmed of being abused/neglected (total of 2,337 children were abused in 2010, some were abused repeatedly).
